I'm shocked and saddened by broadys exit, He and I have had disagreements in the past mainly because of one of my terms, ' desk jockeys' he took that as an insult but, it was't meant that way, I have found him as a guy who says it as it is and shoots from the hip but, he's a graffer who worked his way up by working long hours and impressing his bosses, He was/is dependable and conscientious, those are old fashioned qualities not readily available in todays ' get what you can' society so. No surprise when you see some of the nasty, sarcastic comments and alterations to user names that people like myself have to put up with when making any comment that does not match the thinking or agenda of the same minority every day.

Everybody is entitle to give an opinion without personnel and snide remarks being made at them!

OC, 2 days ago I sadly decided to give this forum a break after being called nasty names by Tommy Two Stroke. I have really enjoyed interacting with folk on here over last couple of years, particularly about history of local places. I don't always agree with folk, nor they agree with me. Sometimes it get a bit 'heated' but that's zero excuse for the direct nasty comments I much dislike and have gladly managed to be never be tageted with, until now. I wasn't even going to make this comment, I just wanted to very much agree with your 07:44 posting. As the 2 Ronnies said, it's goodbye from me....

Dont let anyone drive you away Pewfall. It's been tried with me, for no other reason than I asked a question. Thankfully that person has me on ignore so I can give my opinions without comment from him.
